Efloor EPS flooring utilises Floor span Contracts’ traditional expertise in beam and block installation with added insulation from the incorporation of EPS – expanded polystyrene panels.
Floorspan Contracts offer two different variations on this product: the efloor classic and the efloor plus. The two share a similar design, both using traditional concrete floor beams as the basis of the flooring solution, with the gaps then being filled with under slung expanded polystyrene panels.
The efloor classic is the traditional design, and is reasonably well established in the industry, while the efloor plus is Floorspan Contracts new and improved method of delivering efficient, structurally sound flooring. Where the efloor classic uses only one form of floor beam: the light concrete beam, the efloor plus uses a larger range of different types of Floor Beams to ensure construction is best suited to the needs of the project.
As well as this, the efloor plus utilisesa variable depth polystyrene over sheet, providing extra customisability to clients and additional insulation. The efloor classic and plus not only help the environment through their excellent insulation properties, reducing the carbon footprint of the build, but are also constructed through materials that are environmentally sourced.
All panels provided by Floorspan Contracts are 100% recyclable and water resistant, as well as being non-toxic and non-irritant. EPS as a technology also has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of zero and an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of zero, further helping the environment.
